To keep out dust and bugs

Windows are square/rectangular holes in the brick walls with metal grills but no glass coverage. Anything dead or alive could be blown in by the wind. Everything had to be covered by plastic sheets to keep out dust and bugs. Another set of doors straight ahead. Centre in the foreground is Dennis' chair.
